The question of how all of this ends is of course the one we’re all been asking from the beginning. The severe lockdowns in place in much of Europe are not intended as long-term plans. Their justification was to stop escalating infection rates – and to buy time for governments. But still a pressure is building for this to end – and keenly felt in Europe.
